FCT population commissioner loses mum

The National Population Commission (NPC) Commissioner representing the FCT, Mr Joseph Shazin, has lost his mother, Mrs Ladi Kasala Shazin, at the age of 96.

Mr Shazin said his mother died around 2pm at the Rhema Hospital after a brief illness on Wednesday, adding that her remains were buried the same day.

City & Crime reports that the late Mrs Shazin is survived by two children and 10 grandchildren.

Meanwhile, the FCT Director of NPC, Modu S. Zakariyau, has condoled with the commissioner over the death of his mother.
