Cosgrove Founder, Umar Abdullahi, honoured With OFR

The Federal Government has conferred the award of Officer of the Order of the Federal Republic (OFR) on Mr. Umar Abdullahi, Chairman/CEO of Cosgrove Investment Limited.

Mr. Umar Abdullahi’s presidential recognition was bestowed alongside 339 other distinguished Nigerians and friends of the nation.

Former Secretary General of the Commonwealth, Emeka Anyaoku, bagged the country’s second highest National Honor of Grand Commander of Order of the Niger (GCON), while ten Justices of the Supreme Court were also honoured alongside the Emir of Dutse, Nuhu Sanusi and the Governor of the CBN, Godwin Emefiele among others.

Abdullahi demonstrated ingeniousness by steering an organisation that soon became the hallmark of R&D and application of cutting-edge technology in home automation. His ability to generate wealth and profitable investment in real estate has led to the creation of jobs.

At the ceremony, Arc.
