Anglican synod wants fair appointments

The Anglican Diocese of Awka, Anambra State, has ended its first session of the eleventh Synod, with a call on the Buhari-led administration to reflect the federal character in its appointments and allocation of resources.

The call, which was contained in a 19-point communiqué, signed by the synod secretary, Ven Clement Chibuzor Mgbemena, said the lopsided appointments portrayed Nigeria and her leadership in a bad light to foreigners with its attendant consequences, particularly on investment.
