A group under the auspices of Igbanke Grammar School Development Association (IGSDA), has renovated dilapidated classroom buildings and other infrastructure in the school to the tune of N25 million.
The president of the association, Mr Jacob Erhabor, disclosed this in Igbanke, Edo State, during the third reunion of the old boys and girls of the school.
Erhabor said between 2021 and 2023, the association renovated two separate blocks of classrooms, an administration block and a chemistry lab to the tune of N24.9 million.
He lamented what he described as the infrastructural decay and the near absence of government presence in the school.

On his part, Engr. Arthur Osaretin Osiagwu, the association’s project coordinator, said in 2021, the association spent N15 million in rehabilitating the administrative block, while in 2023, it spent about N9.9 million in renovating the chemistry lab and other classrooms in the school.
