The vice president-elect, Kashim Shettima, visited former military President Ibrahim Badamasi Babangida and former Head of State, General Abdulsalam Alhaji Abubakar, in Minna, Niger State capital, on Thursday.
Shettima, who met the two leaders separately, said the visit was to check on the elder statesmen during Ramadan.
Speaking with journalists, the Vice President-elect said the elder statesmen have a lot to offer to humanity and the nation.
