The New Nigerian People’s Party (NNPP) Southwest chapter’s leader Alhaji Adebisi Abdul-Rasheed Olopeyan has congratulated the Kano State governor-elect, Abba Kabir Yusuf, on his electoral victory in the March 18 election.
Daily Trust on Sunday reports that the Ibadan-based politician described Abba’s election victory as well-deserved and a “result of NNPP’s leader, Senator Rabiu Musa Kwankwanso’s political influence in Kano.

Olopoeyan further called on Yusuf to implement an all-inclusive government by taking all shades of interest in the state into cognizance as well as lead the people of Kano with fairness and humanity the same way his boss, Rabi’u Musa Kwankwaso, did when he was governor.
The NNPP Southwest leader also hailed the presidential candidate and national leader of the party, Kwankwaso, for his political leadership and doggedness, adding that the result of the Kwankwasiyya leader’s track record has spoken for NNPP.
