The Ministry of Health has organised a five-day capacity building workshop for its workers on the Treasury Single Account, the Integrated Personnel and Payroll Information System, the Government Integrated Financial Management Information System and REMITA payment platforms.
Deputy Director, Accounts, Tunde Makinde, said the ministry aimed to educate staff on the principal thrust of the 2023 budget, maintain fiscal viability and ensure smooth transition to the incoming administration.
He said the aimed was also to create awareness on budgetary provisions and guide them on their responsibilities.

He said 20 middle and senior staff of the finance and accounting department in the ministry were trained.
