Mrs. Makama noted that the exercise which was kicked started by the wife of the Inspector General of Police (IGP) in Abuja would also enhance the maintenance of the dilapidated structures scattered across the police barracks.

Earlier, the wife of the Makurdi area commander intimated that the programme was timely in order to safeguard the health of residents in the barracks.

Highlights of the occasion included the donations of hundreds of brooms, refuse disposal equipment and rakes to the various benefitting barracks in the state.
