Tyres stop at edge of bed as truck smashes into sleeping man’s bedroom

A 25-year-old man in Edmonton, Canada, enjoying a light sleep on Sunday in what should have been a lazy weekend morning woke to the sound of twisting metal and concrete after a truck crashed through his bedroom wall. Above, standing on his bed, Kyle Roach looks at the pickup truck that almost landed on him. “I woke up panicking as I saw debris and dust falling on me from the ceiling. The truck was leaking and there was smoke from the engine filling the room,” he said, adding that the driver was bloodied and seemed dazed. Edmonton Police Service said there was no sign the 24-year-old driver of the truck was injured.
