The Group General Manager of the World Trade Centre, Abuja, Mr Karim Adelaja, has said the Churchgate Group, developers of the iconic building in the capital city, ventured into real estate as a trailblazer in luxury living and creator of prime office spaces.
Churchgate Group is a Nigerian conglomerate founded in 1968 but consolidated many of its businesses and began to foray into real estate development, constructing buildings in Lagos and Abuja.
According to Adelaja, the conglomerate specialises in “high-end commercial real estates that are predominantly leased out to multinational corporations and maintains a large warehouse portfolio.”
He said the WTC Abuja is the Churchgate Group’s latest venture and one of its flagship projects with “supercharged development running on some of the best technologies in the world.”
He added that, “Phase one has recently been concluded and consists of a grade-A commercial tower, a luxury residential tower and a clubhouse.”
Adelaja explained that The Residences, one of the seven towers comprising high-end apartments, offers tenants “everything you could ever want or need including top-of-the-line fittings and housewares, on-site parking (valet parking is available) and countless amenities.
“Each apartment has its own unique wrap-around balcony, a canvas for any creative homeowner to turn into paradise.”
He said the residential skyscraper stands at 110 metres high, the tallest residential building in Abuja.
“The 24-storey residential tower is comprised of 120 super luxury apartments, ranging from 1-6 bedrooms. Our creative spaces go beyond the ordinary to provide superior and luxurious experiences every time.
“The views are equally emphasised with plenty of natural light from the large glass panel facades,” he said.
He also said the WTC boasts of a commercial tower, a 22-storey edifice with prime office spaces of up to 33,000 square metres.
