The Minister of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Malam Muhammad Musa Bello, has commiserated with the Traditional Rulers Council in the territory over the demise of the Etsu of Yaba chiefdom in Abaji Area Council, Alhaji Abdullahi Adamu.
Daily Trust Saturday reports that the monarch slumped and died in his palace after he performed ablution to observe Magrib prayers on Thursday.
Bello, who was speaking when he led the funeral prayers of the late monarch yesterday in Yaba, described him as an upright leader who worked tirelessly for the wellbeing of members of his community during his lifetime.
He expressed his deepest condolences to the people of Yaba chiefdom and Abaji Area Council as a whole over the loss of the well-loved traditional ruler.

Also speaking, the Ona of Abaji and chairman, Federal Capital Territory (FCT) Council of Traditional Rulers, Alhaji Adamu Baba Yunusa, described the late Etsu as a peace-loving man who contributed immensely to the development of the FCT and Yaba chiefdom.
He prayed that God would forgive the deceased, and urged all his well-wishers to pray for the repose of his soul.
