A newborn baby has been crushed by a vehicle after the baby was placed in a bag and left in a waste bin in Umudiaba Nkwelle Awka, Awka South Local Government area of Anambra state.
A trader, Josephine Nweke, said they had noticed a bag that fell from the waste disposable vehicle of the Anambra Waste Management Agency (ASWAMA). “We later discovered that it contained the body of a new born baby after a vehicle had run over it,” she said.
The woman who described the dumping of the baby as man’s inhumanity to man, called for severe punishment for culprits.
