Beneficiaries of the N-Power programme in Osun State have been charged to be dedicated to the responsibilities given to them in their respective postings across the state.
The Senior Special Assistant to President Muhammadu Buhari on Job Creation and Youth Empowerment, Mr. Afolabi Imoukhuede gave the charge in Osogbo today while addressing the beneficiaries in Osogbo.
He explained that the monitoring and evaluation tour started in Osun because the state was recognised as the pioneer of the idea behind the establishment of the N-Power programme.
He lauded the leadership style of Osun State Governor, Mr Rauf Aregbesola and his Osun Youth Employment Scheme popularly called (OYES) that provided a template for the smooth running and success of the N-Power programme.
According to him, out of 24,000 applicants that applied for the empowerment programme in Osun, over 10,000 unemployed youths had been successfully engaged across the state on different specified areas like teaching, agro-economic and health.
