Norrenberger targets marathon, other sporting competition in states

Integrated Financial Services company, Norrenberger says asides the federal capital territory, it is planning to expand its fitness competition to other states and subsequently on a global stage.

The Head, Asset Management at Norrenberger, Abigail Utomi stated this over the weekend during the ‘Meet and Greet with Norrenberger Abuja Fitlife Winners,”

She noted that the Abuja Fitlife 2022 organized by Norrenberger in partnership with Bodyline fitness and gym had over 1,500 participants around the FCT with a cash price of over N50 million splashes to winners, while adding that the company hopes to expand it to states for the year 2023.

According to her, “Norrenberger is considering expansion of the sporting competition to other states and even bringing other countries onboard to participate in the sporting areas of half marathon, fittest and strongest challenge as well as charity work.”

Utomi added that the essence of the meeting was to meet with the winners and also enlighten them on wealth investment adding that “because they are from the social sector doesn’t mean they can’t be brought into the formal sector,”

She further stated that most sporting individuals have a maximum career of 20 years, hence the need to invest their resources for a better future.

Also speaking, the Manager Bodyline fitness and gym, Bako Hosea said it was important for the winners to meet the sponsors of the event and share experiences and possible ways of future partnership.

He said the Fitlife event for this year which is proposed for December is expected to be more robust than last year.
