2 killed, many abducted as gunmen attack Abuja suburb

Gunmen on Tuesday night attacked Munu community in Kuje Area Council of the FCT, killing two people and abducting many others.

A resident, who spoke to our reporter on Wednesday morning, said a provision shop, as well as a drinking joint were also looted by the gunmen.

He said, “Mobile policemen deployed to our neighbouring community of Rubochi, where a Federal Government College (FGC) is located, visited us about 30 minutes after the operation and promised to come back in the morning for fact finding.”

There was no response from the FCT Police Command on the incident at the time of filing this report.
