Kidnappers slash ransom money on FCT chief’s wife, sons to N8m

The traditional ruler of Bukpe community in Kwali Area Council of the FCT, Alhaji Hussaini Shamdozhi, has  disclosed that the abductors of his wife have slashed the N35 million ransom earlier demanded to N8 million, including foodstuff, to release his wife, two sons and five others.

City & Crime had reported that bandits on February 4, 2023, invaded the monarch’s house and abducted one of his wives, Mrs Sadiya Hassan Shamdozhi, his two sons, Hamisu and Osama, and five other residents.

Recall that the monarch himself was abducted on March 30, 2022, after bandits invaded his palace and he was held in captivity for 17 days and later regained freedom after payment of N4m and foodstuff to his abductors.
