Nigeria Super Eagles Head Coach Jose Peseiro has joined the Nigeria Football Coaches Association (NFCA) in a bid to foster a positive relationship with the country’s coaches.
The Portuguese coach was named Super Eagles manager in 2022, and his contract with the Nigeria Football Federation – NFF stipulates that he would remain in Nigeria.
Mr. Peseiro was presented with his membership certificate by Ladan Bosso, President of the Coaches Association and Head Coach of the Nigeria U-20 Eagles squad.
Peseiro also received a membership identity card with the number NFCA/NEC/014 issued on February 8, 2023, with an expiry date of February 8, 2025.
Peseiro has previously worked at renowned football clubs such as Sporting CP, when he led the club to the 2005 UEFA Cup Final, FC Porto, and fifteen others.
Peseiro has previously managed the national teams of Saudi Arabia (2009-2011) and Venezuela (2020-2021).
