Ten days to the Presidential election, the National Agenda for Greater Asiwaju (NAGA) said they have intensified efforts towards meeting their promise of delivering 2.5 million votes for the All Progressives Congress (APC) Presidential Candidate Bola Ahmed Tinubu.
Addressing journalists at an event aimed at showing love to the supporters of the APC candidate in Abuja, Hajia Hadiza Mamman Vatsa, a Deputy Director of the APC – PCC said they are committed to making sure that Tinubu defeats all the other candidates in the February 25th election.
Hajia Vatsa who is also in charge of the Artisans and Technicians directorate of the APC PCC said so far they have been to more than seven states and will visit more before the elections.
She said apart from sensitizing people to vote for Tinubu, they are also embarked on a nationwide empowerment program by giving various items to artisans and technicians, namely grinding machines, hairdressing machines, generators and others.
“This was done in various states that we have visited like, Kwara, Kogi, Nasarawa, Bauchi, Benue, Niger, Gombe. We have also visited notable politicians, soliciting for support for the APC Presidential campaign, Tinubu and Shettima. We are mobilizing and sensitizing the people through our Knocking on the Door program to achieve the 2.5 million promised to the PCC.”
On the import of the Abuja program, she said “We are celebrating love in Nigeria, we want to use the love of today to send a message to Nigerians, Tinubu and Shettima has what it takes to bring about peace in Nigeria. There cannot be development without peace. Tinubu has empowered many Nigerians, he has what it takes to do more.
“As a campaign we are focused on the grass-root because we believe that is where our votes are, that is where people that also need our support are. We need to give the people hope that voting APC, Tinubu will put an end to the problems in the country.” She said.
