No fewer than 35,000 women have benefitted from a medical outreach programme organised by First Humanitarian Medic Plus (FHMPI) in Kebbi, Sokoto, Katsina and Zamfara states.
The project’s Coordinator, Hajiya Maryam Halilu Gilima, who noted that the programme was conducted free of charge across the North West, said it was put together by the APC Youth Campaign Wing under the leadership of Mr Seyi Bola Tinubu and the Department of BATmedics in collaboration with FHMPI.
She noted that the exercise featured medical consultants for various ailments such as blood pressure, diabetics and maternal care, as well as distribution of drugs.
She said, “The project was a massive women’s medical outreach in 17 LGAs of the four states, where vulnerable women were targeted and benefited. We had 20,000 in Zamfara, 6,000 in Kebbi, 5,000 in Sokoto and 4,000 in Katsina.”

She urged women across the states to vote for the presidential candidate of APC, Bola Ahmed Tinubu, noting that he deserved all the support from women.
She said, “We want Nigerians to know that under the administration of Bola Ahmed Tinubu, these are things they would benefit on a regular basis, especially those women in the rural areas.”
