The national president of the Road Transport Employers Association of Nigeria (RTEAN), Musa Muhammed Maitakobi, yesterday urged his members to be law abiding.

A statement by the association’s deputy national president, Muhammed Abubakar Bishara, quoted Maitakobi as making the appeal during the inauguration of RTEAN’s new executive at their Headquarters in Abuja.

Maitakobi appealed to newly sworn-in RTEAN chairman of Ekiti State chapter, Sunday Adeola, to carry everyone along.

He advised him to understand that he was a follower in the past, but today a leader that should set good example among the his followers

In his remarks, Adeola commended the national chairman of the association for considering him worthy of such an appointment.

Adeola prayed to God Almighty to give RTEAN members the courage to protect the prestige of the Association wherever they find themselves.

He urged members to shun anything capable of causing a crisis in the state.
