Leadership Institute Appoints Country Director In Nigeria

First Class Management and Leadership Institute Ltd/Gte (FCMLI) have announced the appointment of Mr Byron Isi as the Country Director, with effect from February 02, 2023.

In an appointment letter signed on behalf of the institute by the Chief Operations Officer, Ms Julia Chigbue, the appointment is for ‘Country Director, Nigeria & Head, African Operations’ of the organization.

The COO revealed that the body was collaborating with institutional support from the US, Switzerland and South Africa, at the moment to lead Africa’s perspective in effective management and leadership options as it relates to “Organizational vision, human development and country support from Afrocentrism”, that is, developing and celebrating the best of Africa, same way other continents have also done,”

Also, Mrs Olayinka Fayomi, Vice President of Foreign Investment Network, FIN hinted that it helped wid-wife the set up of FCMLI as a social responsibility to close the gap on “think tank and do tank” in the intellectual and research tasking alternatives in the areas of effective management and leadership home-grown innovations or options.

The new appointee, Mr Byron Isi has worked with the Nigerian Investment Promotion Commission, NIPC, as Deputy Director, and has garnered requisite professional competence and exposure at Directorate capacities in the public service.

The new Country Director, Mr. Isi, said that the vision of FCMLI towards achieving an authoritative African source of reference in creating strategic developmental solutions that target the vast youthful population with their aid of tech savvies remains a paramount objective.

He agreed that it is a vision whose time was long overdue, stressing that as the CEO and Country Director, he will lead required partnerships and collaborations required, given his influential international exposures, at the highest levels, to bear on his new role.

He added that FCMLI is an intellectual and strategic body which needs to develop workable templates to address myriad of challenges that truncate effective and efficient management and leadership operations and results in private and public spheres.
