The Murtala Mohammed Airport Command of the Nigeria Customs Service, yesterday, said it collected N69.8 billion as revenue in 2022 compared to the N55.67bn that it generated in the same period in 2021.
Customs Area Controller, Sambo Dangaladima, made this disclosure while presenting the command’s revenue profile for 2022.
He said: “I make bold to say that this area command never had it so good. This shows an overwhelming increase of N14.1billion representing 25.34%. The 2022 yearly target was N66.9 billion but the command surpassed the target with N2.83bn representing a 4.24% increase.”
