The Nasarawa State Police Command Friday said it has rescued no fewer than 30 kidnapped victims during an operation in Toto LGA.
This was contained in a statement signed by the command’s spokesman, DSP Ramhan Nansel, and obtained by Daily Trust Saturday.
Nansel said that the command on Thursday, January 12, received information that suspected kidnappers held people hostage in Toto.
The statement reads in part: “In reaction to the unwholesome development, a joint operation was carried out by operatives of the command in conjunction with Miyetti Allah Vigilante Group of Toto LGA.
