The 11 female students whose age range between 12 and 16 have been in the custody of their abductors for the past 20 months.

Kaoje said they had exhausted every effort to negotiate with the bandits and get government’s intervention and support which yielded no success.
He said the parent’s movement established contact with Dogo Gide on 15th of December last year with the help of his mother.
“Initially, he rejected any attempt to negotiate with us, but after his mother intervened, he agreed to release our children on condition that we pay N100m ransom, otherwise we would never see our children again.
“This is why each of the parents have resolved to sell whatever they own, including landed property and other valuables to augment what they will be able to raise from the appeal fund,” said Kaoje.
