FTY Recreation Center organizes countdown tournament for FCT youths

AS part of efforts to support the development of sport activities in Nigeria, FTY Recreation Center has organised a countdown tournament for youths in the Federal Capital Territory (FCT).

A statement signed by the Chairman, FTY Recreation Center/FTY Football Academy, Hadi Mutallab, and made available to newsmen, on Wednesday, in Abuja, disclosed that the competition which was held on 29th and 31st of December, were part of efforts to mark the end of 2022.

The sport competition designed to encourage sports appreciation and to drive growth of sports in Nigeria, witnessed large numbers of youths who thronged-in, in support of the initiative.

“FTY Recreation Center inside Guards Polo Club Abuja was on a stand still for a football competition that started on the 29th of December with a final match on the 31st December 2022 recorded a massive turn-out of supporters from every part of Abuja.

“In order to support the development of sport activities and growth in Nigeria, Fty Recreation Center has a FIFA standard 5-a football pitch, Basketball Court, long Tennis etc with over 200 seating capacity in a very secure and conducive environment for your relaxation,” the statement read partly.
