The presidential candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, could not hold back his excitement as a mammoth crowd thronged Kano for the North West rally of the ruling party on Wednesday.
Daily Trust reports that the former Lagos state governor upon sighting the massive crowd that filled the venue of the rally, started dancing with fervour and declared to the crowd that “all I want to do is dance. I want music” and subsequently resumed dancing.
Afterwards, he told the crowd that he would keep his promises to Nigerians and that one of his promises is “to give your families peace and harmony. I will serve you (and) serve Nigeria.”
Speaking earlier, the governor of Kebbi state, Abubakar Atiku Bagudu, who is also the Chairman of Progressives Governor’s Forum, allayed fears of supporters of the party on the reports making rounds that some of the governors of the party have been meeting with the presidential candidate of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP), Atiku Abubakar.

He said contrary to the reports, all the APC governors are standing by Tinubu as they have been doing even before he emerged as the presidential candidate, adding that all APC governors and past governors of the party are the leaders of the campaign for Tinubu to emerge president and this is evidential by their presence in Kano.
“We are urging our people to ignore all the fake news from the people saying APC governors are meeting with them,” he added.
