There was pandemonium in the Mile 2 area of Lagos on Tuesday when a fuel-laden tanker overturned after colliding with a motorcycle.
Daily Trust learnt that the motorcycle along the Mile2- Oshodi expressway was facing the tanker while there was a collision in the process.
Motorcycle riders popularly known as Okada are used to facing oncoming vehicles despite an existing ban on their operations.
The accident happened around Lacasera inward Oshodi.

Emergency officials including firefighters and LASEMA Response Unit (LRU) were at the scene to dampen the petroleum product spilt by the fallen tanker.
Permanent Secretary of the LASEMA, Dr Olufemi Oke-Osanyintolu who confirmed the incident said the motorcycle rider whose identity had not been identified lost his life.
