Security agencies in Cross River State on Tuesday lauded the conduct of residents of the state during the Yuletide celebration and the annual Calabar carnival.
The heads of the security agencies in the state, who spoke in a telephone interview with the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) in Calabar, said the celebrations were generally peaceful.
Mr Samuel Fadeyi, the Commandant, Nigeria Security and Civil Defense Corp (NSCDC) told NAN that no serious case of insecurity was recorded during the celebrations.

Similarly, SP Irene Ugbo, the state Police Public Relations Officer (PPRO), told NAN that no case of kidnapping or robbery was recorded during the period. (NAN)
