The Tijjaniyyah Muslim Students’ Association of Nigeria (TIMSAN) has urged members and other youths across the country to avoid acts capable of heating up the polity and threatening the smooth conduct of the 2023 general elections.
The Chairman, International Organisation of Tijjaniyya Brotherhood (IOTB), Prof. Abdullahi El-Okene, gave the charge at the 12th Tijjaniyya Muslim Students’ National Conference on Sunday in Abuja.
He said the conference was to bring the organisation’s members together on their wellbeing and how to the good members of the organisation and good citizens in the country.
The conference urged members to make the best of their studentship in the various higher institutions to be able to make positive impacts with their knowledge and experiences.

Also, the Mukadam (leader) of the organisation in South West, Hakeem Muhydeen Folahan, and the Mukadam in Kaduna State, Ahmad Abdullahi, in separate presentations at the conference urged members to be forthright in their relationship with Allah and fellow citizens.
