MI Abaga
On Saturday, September 24, 2022, veteran rapper, Jude Abaga, commonly known as MI, and his fiancée, Eniola Mafe, got married in a church ceremony. On September 23, 2022, the couple had their traditional wedding. Fellow superstars like Banky W, Adesua Etomi-Wellington, Basketmouth and IK Osakioduwa showed up at the event.
Kemi Adetiba
To the amazement of fans, movie director and producer, Kemi Adetiba, revealed her engagement to music executive, Oscar Heman-Ackah, on February 9, 2022. Before her colourful star-studded traditional wedding event in June, 2022, the King of Boys director was married in April, in a registry. Among those present are Sola Sobowale, Banky W, Adesua Wellington and Ebuka Obi-Uchendu.

Ini-dima Okojie
On Saturday, May 21, 2022, Ini Dima-Okojie, a rising star in Nollywood, exchanged vows in a religious ceremony with Abasi Ene-Obong, a company CEO. In June, 2021, Ini and Abasi posted a social media announcement about their engagement, thus starting their relationship. Two years into their courtship, Abasi proposed. On Thursday, May 19, 2022, the couple married. The ceremony was a special fusion of Edo and Calabar cultures.
Rita Dominic
On Saturday, November 26, 2022, at a manor in North Yorkshire, England, veteran Nollywood actress, Rita Dominic, exchanged vows with a prominent publisher, Fidelis Anosike. This occurred seven months after the actress and her husband were legally wedded in a traditional ceremony on April 19, 2022, in Imo State. Numerous notable Nigerians, including Ini Edo, Kate Henshaw, Uti Nwachukwu, Uche Jumbo and Joke Silva attended.
After the wedding, the actress disclosed that the United Arab Emirates’ move to exclude Nigerians and other nations in October nearly destroyed her white wedding.
Frederick Leonard & Peggy Ovire
Actor, Frederick Leonard, and Nollywood actress and model, Peggy Ovire Enoho, got married on Saturday, November 19, 2022, in a traditional marriage ceremony. The grand wedding took place in Warri, Delta State.
On October 21, 2022, the stunning Peggy (37) and the charming Frederick (46) announced their engagement and love. Peggy said in an Instagram post that she and Leonard initially bonded as best friends before their friendship developed into something more.
Peggy, who was in tears at her traditional marriage, counselled young females to be patient with their boyfriends before later calling their fairy tale love as a miracle in a pre-wedding post. The actress characterised her husband as a devoted and ambitious man.
