The Bayero University Kano (BUK) class of 1992 alumni have donated N2 million to indigent students of the school as part aof their 30th graduation anniversary.
They also paid the medical expenses of 30 patients suffering from various ailments who could not offset their bills at the Aminu Kano Teaching Hospital (AKTH).
The Chairman of the association, Muhammad Dahiru Saad, said the alumni would continue to build on its three core principles of supporting their alma mater, helping their members and extending helping hands to the larger society.
Saad, alongside members of the leadership of the Class 1992, disclosed this when he presented the cheque of the N2m to the vice chancellor of the university in his office for disbursement to the students.

He noted that the alumni had in the last few years donated to BUK indigent students, assisted flood victims in Katsina, freed inmates and supported them with start-up capital.
