Abia LP gov’ship candidate seeks votes for Obi

The Labour Party (LP) governorship candidate in Abia State, Dr Alex Otti has urged residents to vote the party’s presidential candidate, Mr. Peter Obi for president and himself for governor and other candidates in the 2023 elections.

Otti said the votes of the people will enable him to reclaim and return Abia to the path of peace, growth and development.

He said the state has experienced several years of “rudderless leadership”, which he explained had severely affected the welfare and well-being of millions, especially the unemployed youths and senior citizens whose  salaries and pensions have not been paid.

Otti made the appeal in a Christmas message he personally signed and made available to Daily Trust in Abuja on Wednesday through his media aide, Ferdinand Ekeoma.

He encouraged the people to collect their Permanent Voters Card (PVCs), stressing that the technological innovation of the Bimodal Voter Accreditation System (BVAS) in the electoral process has given hope for conduct of credible elections.
