Skyline International Tourism and Hospitality (SITH) Ltd said it will launch street cafes and more international brands in the Nigerian market in 2023.

The general manager, Unni Krishnan Menon, stated this at the opening of the 6th Pizza Hut/Movenpick Ice Cream outlet in Abuja on Sunday.

He said, “We are opening our 8th Pizza Hut, so, this is our 6th restaurant in Abuja and 8th restaurant in Nigeria.

“It’s a milestone; this is probably the last opening for the year 2022. We are quite happy that we are able to open right outlets in one and half years of Pizza Hut.

“We find the Nigerian market to have huge potential; the population is there, people are educated, there is a growing middle class who want to be connected with global brands like Pizza Hut and Movenpick. So, we just happen to be at the right place at the right time.”

He added, “So, next year, we will probably see two or three of those street cafes. And then, there are also talks with another big brand, an international brand. We hope that we will be able to get international brands apart from Pizza Hut and Movenpick”.

Menon said the group is rapidly expanding its market share among other competitors, adding that the expansion has been rapid within a short time.

“Next year, we’re also looking forward towards the South South and the South West markets apart from that focus in the central and northern markets,” he said.
