A rallying call from a Presidential spokesperson has gone out to all those interested in doing the tough job of working to change Nigeria.
In a New Year tweet this morning, Mr. Laolu Akande, the Senior Special Assistant to the President on Media, in the Office of the Vice President, through his verified Twitter handle said Nigerians should resolve to do more for change Nigeria and make things better.
According to the tweet “as we enter 2023, let’s resolve to do a lot more to change Nigeria for the better.
Akande then quoted the Former US President Obama who once told Americans about how to keep improving their country deemed the most powerful in the world when he said “in the face of impossible odds, people who love this country can change it.”
Mr. Akande described Obama’s words as “Golden words,” and added that “All things are possible!,” in what is a rallying encouragement to Nigerians.

He concluded the tweet by wishing everyone a “HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!” in bold caps.
