He pledged a holistic approach, including restructuring of the police force and creation of local police, to bring lasting peace to the country.

He promised that Southern Kaduna will feel the presence of the federal government if voted into power.

The presidential candidate met with Muslim and Christian clerics at Jama’a Central Mosque and Throne Room Trust Ministry respectively in Kafanchan.

We will deliver you in Ogun – PCC DG

The Director-General of PDP Presidential Campaign Council in Ogun State, Adekunle Akinlade, has vowed Atiku Abubakar would win next year’s election in the state.

Akinlade, who is also the PDP deputy governorship candidate in the state, said the recent court ruling, which ordered INEC to recognise Ladi Adebutu as the governorship candidate, has been giving the ruling party a sleepless night.

He spoke in Abeokuta, the state capital, at the meeting of the PCC members.

Akinlade said, “We want everybody to work hard. I have no doubt that we will deliver our president in the first election and I have no doubt that we will also deliver PDP in the second election in Ogun State.

“Failure is not an option for us in Ogun State and failure is not an option for us at the national level.”
