Hassan noted that it was aimed at equipping women in the community for self-reliance.

Mrs Ashley Lori, the founder, Pad Up Africa, said the skill acquisition was put together as most women pass through a lot in bringing up their kids.

Mal. Umar Gani Sarki, the village head of the community, while expressing joy, promised to ensure that the knowledge obtained by the selected few would be passed to other women in the community.

One of the beneficiaries, Tina Obari, while thanking the organisers said she learnt a lot.
