Three young men suspected to be Yahoo boys have raped a male tricycle operator in Awka, Anambra State.
A source told City & Crime that the young men negotiated the services of the tricyclist and took him to their house in Okpuno, a suburb of Awka, where they lured him into the house and took turns to rape him on Monday.
The state’s police command’s spokesperson, DSP Toochukwu Ikenga, said one of the suspects had been arrested, while his allies were on the run.
He explained that, “Preliminary investigation showed that the suspects hired the victim who is a tricycle rider and lured him to a room before having carnal knowledge of him.
“Meanwhile, the result from the doctor’s report showed that there was penetration into his anus, but the arrested suspect has denied.
“Further details shall be communicated as investigation is ongoing.”
