Lobi Stars have embarked on a pre-season playing tour of Plateau and Bauchi state where they are expected to trade tackles with fellow Nigeria Professional Football League (NPFL) sides, Plateau United and Wikki Tourists.
The matches have been arranged by the managements of the three clubs to help them in blending their squads ahead of the 2022/2023 NPFL season.
According to the Media Director of Lobi Stars, Emmanuel Uja, the ‘Pride of Benue’ will first play last season’s runners-up Plateau United today at the New Jos stadium by 4pm.
They will then make a short trip to Bauchi for their second match on Friday, December 9 against Wikk Tourists at the Abubakar Tafawa Balewa stadium Bauchi at 3pm.

Lobi Stars will round up the tour with the return leg fixture against the ‘Bauchi Elephants’ on Saturday, December 10 at the New Jos stadium before heading back to Makurdi.
The latest pre-season schedule of Lobi Stars is coming on the heels of their recently concluded tour of Benue state where they played nearly 23 friendly matches winning all but two which were the draws recorded in the matches against Katsina- Ala and Kwande LGA respectively.
