At the end of day seven, host of the 2022 National Sports Festival (NSF) and defending champions, Delta State have maintained their leadership of the medals table with a total of 275 medals.
As at the time of press, Delta State had won 146 gold, 78 silver, 51 bronze to stay top while Bayelsa is placed second with 103 medals which include 40 gold, 23 silver and 40 bronze medals.
Following closely is Edo with 138 medals comprising 28 gold, 42 silver and 68 bronze while Lagos is 4th with 80 medals made up of 16 gold, 33 silver and 31 bronze.
In total, 1073 medals have been won which includes 314 gold, 307 silver and 452 bronze.

In canoeing, Olasupo Temitope paddled to glory to become the first Oyo State athlete to ever win gold in Canoeing.
The male cricket team battled valiantly to defeat Team Kaduna in a thrilling final to earn gold in their first appearance in more than 40 years.
Team Delta continued its medal haul after winning 6 gold medals in Weightlifting events.
The host claimed all the three gold medals at stake in 49kg women as well as 67kg men categories while Lagos went home with all three gold medals in 55kg men category.
