The governor of Ekiti State, Biodun Oyebanji, khas signed the N122,669,039,657.27 billion 2022 Supplementary Appropriation Bill for the state into law.
Governor Oyebanji while signing the appropriation bill into law in Ado-Ekiti, expressed delight over the development.
While speaking on the legislative crisis in the state House of Assembly, he noted that the assembly in the state can solve its internal crisis, pointing out that democracy allows for the crisis but “We must place the interest of the state above all interests.”
Governor Oyebanji commended the elders and the leadership of the All Progressives Congress (APC) for their quick resolve to put the crisis behind.
Earlier, the Speaker, Olubunmi Adelugba, said the legislature will continue to accord Oyebanji’s administration the necessary support in the re-engineering agenda of the policy.
