Sule cautions opposition parties against violence

Governor Abdullahi Sule of Nasarawa State has appealed to all the political parties in the state to desist from fanning the embers of discord and violence during electioneering campaigns.

The governor spoke when he received defectors from the opposition Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) and the Labour Party (LP) yesterday in Nasarawa LGA.

He said, “We are united in the APC. We are seeing others leaving their parties to come and join us because of the unity within our party. Any loyal member of the party will not seek to create a crisis in the party.”

Sule expressed appreciation with the crowd that turned out for the rally from the reception at the palace of the Emir of Nasarawa, HRH Alhaji Ibrahim Usman Jibrin, to the venue of the rally.

He expressed confidence that with the massive turnout out, the people of Nasarawa LGA had demonstrated their readiness to deliver the APC in the coming elections.
