Ibrahim Ndayebo, a younger brother to the late former Commissioner for Information and Chief Press Secretary in Niger State, Danladi Ndayebo, has asked the Niger State governor, Abubakar Sani Bello, to allow justice to prevail in the ongoing investigation of alleged act of negligence and abuse of office by doctors in the IBB Specialist Hospital.
He also asked the governor to enforce stiffer punishment against the state Commissioner for Health, Dr Mohammed Mohammed Makusidi for alleged failure to monitor the activities of doctors in the state hospitals under his ministry.
The younger brother to Ndayebo, in a petition dated November 22, 2022, and signed by his lawyer, Barrister Mohammed Maude Umar of Al-Ilham Legal Consult, which was addressed to the governor, said the action of doctors in the hospital was deliberate.
He said the family of his late brother would be subjected to hardship as their father was their last hope to survive.

Ibrahim said hours after his elder brother was taken to the emergency Unit of the IBB Hospital, he was left without a diagnosis to ascertain the possible effect of the accident on him as no doctor was available to attend to him.
The petitioner said when he made an enquiry to establish why he was not attended to, the staff on duty angrily told him that there was nothing they could do.
When contacted, the Niger State Commissioner for Health, Dr Mohammed Mohammed Makusidi, said he was not aware of the petition.
