Plateau assembly lawmaker dies

Eric Dakogol, member representing Qu’anpan North Constituency in the Plateau State House of Assembly, is dead.

Daily Trust reports that the deceased died in Jos, the state capital, on Monday afternoon.

A family source who confirmed the development to our correspondent said the lawmaker fell ill some weeks before his demise.

While mourning the deceased, the Plateau State Governor, Simon Bako Lalong, described the death as a huge loss to his immediate family and the state at large State , adding that he was a true democrats and representative of his people.
