Power Learn Project on Monday said it planned to train one million African youths in software development.
Its manager Albert Kimani, said this when his team visited the corporate head office of Media Trust Group.
He said trainees would include 300,000 Nigerians youths.
“Our goal is one million across Africa, but our specific goal for Nigeria is 300,000. We are looking at spreading to all young people and potential partners to know about this opportunity.

“Generally, what we are offering is scholarship for any young person interested in software development to be able to start a career in the tech sector,” he said.
Kimani said the organisation looked forward to partnering with several oganisations for job placement, mentorship and knowledge advancement of the trainees.
He said applicants must be computer literate as the programme “is purely online as well as for those above the age of eighteen.”
Receiving the delegation on behalf of Media Trust Group, General Editor, Daily Trust, Hamza Idris, advised the organisation to develop a code of ethics that could guide the trainees against using the knowledge to be acquired for criminalities.
