The National Population Commission has launched an online recruitment portal and housing census in Nasarawa State.
The federal commissioner representing Nasarawa State, Mr Silas Ali-Agara, at the event said the need to be fair and transparent in the recruitment process led the commission to introduce the online e-recruitment portal.

He said the commission would, through that, request applicants for different categories, including facilitators, training centre administrators, monitoring and evaluation officers.
He assured residents that the bulk of the personnel for the 2023 census would be drawn from communities across the state and would provide opportunities for them to be adequately counted.
“On the issue of influencing numbers during the census, our portal will track ad hoc staff trying to manipulate the figures, and they will be sent back to the field to do the right thing before reporting back to the commission,” Agara added.
