2023: Don’t recycle old leaders, Sardauna of Boro warns voters

A prominent supporter of Nigerian youth projects, Chief Enoch Nyam Fada has tasked Nigerians to be decisive during the 2023 general elections.

Chief Fada, who is also the Sardauna of Boro, Niger State, cautioned the electorate against voting politicians who he said had destroyed the fortunes of the country for decades.

He gave the warning Wednesday in Abuja after his investiture as the Sarki Fadan Talakawa (Peacemaker and the Harbinger of Peace in Nigeria) by the Indigenous Equity Foundation and Indigenous Ethnic Youths Leaders of Nigeria.

He specifically advised the youths to desist from participating in electoral violence, not to sell their votes, and unite to retrieve the country from the precipice of collapse.

“Our youths are the leaders of tomorrow and we must bring them into any part of the system we are doing. Many things have been going wrong. But from today, we will correct all the mess.

“I am pleading with the youths to stand firm. They should avoid violence because of our old leaders. They should form their own leadership so that tomorrow we will have a young person as president.

“We are tired of those older than the rule to us. Now we have to stand up and support our youth to make sure everything works well. You should not sell your votes. We do not need old people to govern Nigeria,” he said.
