Ivan Toney scored twice in the early Premier League fixture on Saturday to earn Brentford a win against Manchester City at the Etihad Stadium.
A win for City would have pushed them to the tabletop ahead of Arsenal’s match against Wolves later at night.

Toney put the visitors ahead in the 16th minute before Phil Foden equalised for the home side on the stroke of halftime.
The match looked to be ending with the two teams sharing the points until Toney grabbed the winner in the eighth minute of the added time.
With the win, Brentford temporarily moved to the tenth spot while Manchester City maintain their second spot.
If Arsenal should win later at night, they will have a 5-point lead at the top of the table ahead of the World Cup break.
