Kaduna State Government has began training of 258 Public School Teachers on digital skills under Adolescent Girls Initiative for Learning and Empowerment (AGILE) in the state.
AGILE Digital skills Officer, Sani Aliyu, disclosed shortly after the commencement of the 2-day Training of Trainers for the implementation of Digital skills under Kaduna AGILE, for post Primary School Teachers in computer education.

According to him, the teachers were carefully selected from 79 schools.
He said the training is specifically for teachers that are teaching computer education in public post Primary schools in the state .
Sani Aliyu maintained that for any post primary institution in the state to benefit from the programme, it must have a functional computer laboratory.
He said the target of the AGILE project is to ensure that post Primary students are computer literate and can easily access the internet as well as create innovative ideas through the use of computers and digital platforms.
Similarly, AGILE Technical Assistant officer, Zainab Maina, said the AGILE project is committed towards improve environmental protection, cleanliness and personal hygiene among secondary schools students.
She said about 550 schools are benefiting from the programme, while toiletries, disinfectants and other facilities have been provided to the schools .
