A 29-year-old woman, Oseni Balikis, has been arraigned for abducting a two-year-old pupil, Ajile Oloyede, from a private school at the Gamno area of Ilorin, Kwara State.
The prosecutor, Gbenga Ayeni, told the court that the accused took the child from the gate of the school but was chased and accosted by one Jamiu Kajola who rode a motorcycle.

He said, “When confronted, she claimed to be the mother of the child.”
The Magistrate Monisola Gbadeyan Kamson, ordered the remand of the accused at a correctional facility and adjourned to November 17, 2022.
