While charging members of the community to play their role in ensuring security of the area, Abdullahi also called on security operatives in the area to always do the needful and ensure the protection of lives and property.
He noted that, “It is now obvious that the security operatives in the area are scanty, hence the need for the vigilantes and the people to wake up and ensure the protection of their lives and property.”
He called on the Plateau state police commissioner to consider the establishment of a police division in Jingir community.
On his part, Chief Kasuwà expressed the determination of the community to continue to work together with security agents to make sure that the people were protected from kidnappers and robbers.
Also speaking, the DPO, Samuel, said the division was ready to work with the people in finding a lasting solution to the problem of kidnapping in the area.
